Volker Rath currently serves as Field CISO for Australia and New Zealand at Cloudflare. As an executive advisor, he helps customers to navigate change, increase their operational resilience and drive business outcomes. Volker also provides insights to internal teams to support Cloudflare's go-to-market and product strategies.

Prior to joining Cloudflare, Volker served as security, risk and compliance principal and executive advisor at AWS and provided strategic advice for executive teams globally. Volker specialized in security controls automation, TD/IR, cloud governance and operating models, assurance automation and AI risk management.

Volker previously held senior roles at PwC, British Telecom, Hewlett-Packard and Symantec. In his career, Volker developed several innovative solutions around security management, threat detection, and compliance that were integrated into commercial products and managed security service offerings.
